New mums at Great Garnetts are enjoying the new maternity wing in the great outdoors. At the age of aroung 3 weeks the piglets are big enough to leap over the little gate from the shelter entrance and run around in a lovely grass field with Mum.

Great Garnetts has done it again! The Great Taste Awards is the Oscars of the Food industry, and we are so proud to have been awarded a Gold Medal not only for our pork as we were in 2008, but also this year for our traditional sausages. The Great Taste Awards judging standards, devised by the Guild of Fine Food are the most rigorous in the UK, with each entry being blind tasted by at least three different teams of experts. It is an excellent acheivement for a small farm like ours. The word is spreading too it seems about how good our products really are - we are now supplying our pork to some of the most discerning outlets including Marcus Wareing's fantastic London restaurant.
